Overview

Waterfall Maker (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates waterfallmaker.com. This page describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.

Your Chart Data

The data you enter into the chart builder — labels, values, titles, and annotations — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never transmitted to our servers. Charts and saved templates are stored locally in your browser's storage (localStorage) and remain on your device only.

Information We Collect

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We use this solely to authenticate you. We do not store your Google password.

Download activity. When you download a chart, we log the export format (pptx or png) along with your user ID (if signed in) for product analytics. No chart content is included.

Usage analytics. We may collect anonymous page-view data to understand how the product is used. This data does not identify you personally and contains no chart content.

Subscription & billing. If you purchase a Pro subscription, Stripe processes the payment and stores your card details on their systems. We never see or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan, status, and the renewal date so we can entitle you to Pro features and let you manage the subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity when you sign in
• To enforce the free-tier download limit for unauthenticated users
• To process subscription payments and grant access to Pro features
• To send billing-related emails such as receipts and renewal failures (via Stripe)
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

Data Storage & Security

Account data is stored securely via Supabase with industry-standard encryption. Your chart data never leaves your device. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use essential cookies solely to maintain your authentication session when you sign in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not require your consent. If you purchase a subscription, Stripe's checkout and customer portal run on Stripe's own domains and may set cookies governed by their policy. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on waterfallmaker.com.

Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — authentication only
• Supabase — account storage, authentication, and subscription state
• Stripe— payment processing and subscription management. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor; your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at waterfallmakersupport@appsnovo.com. You can also revoke Google sign-in access through your Google account settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
